THE VISION
ARISE
The Album inspired by the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ from Palm Sunday, to His Resurrection & Ascension.
My songs are my prayers. These songs are inspired by the events of the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His followers during Holy Week. The songs take the listener along on an emotional roller coaster journey of scriptural events, influenced by the adventure of recovery along with a woman's perspective.
You will squirm, cry and perhaps dance.
RELAX WITH GINA
There is a healing nature to the frequent practice of relaxation. I started doing relaxation exercises with individuals in 1983 and found out I had a voice that was very soothing and I wanted to formally record my voice, someday. God is patient... At first I took a small tape recorder & made tapes for the people I was working with so they had the exercises to use at home and this worked well. Eventually everyone moved over to CD's. Then in 2007 I started doing relaxation in a group setting & expanding on using imagery. I got a lot of encouragement to make a CD of what I was doing in groups as kind of "Gina to go". Then in 2008 I asked Robert Finan of "ANB Recordings" who I had previously worked with witting & recording the album "Arise" and he made this CD possible.
It is suggested that you listen to one of the tracks at least daily, better yet twice a day. It is my experience that if you do this to the best of your ability for 2 weeks you will notice a difference in your level of tension & focus. You may want to take your pulse for a full minute before & after you listen as a way of seeing how you progress.
Listen & enjoy!
JOURNEY WITH GINA
I started doing relaxation exercises with individuals in 1983 and found out I had a voice that was very soothing and I wanted to formally record my voice, someday. I knew there was a healing nature to the frequent practice of relaxation. At first I took a small tape recorder & made tapes for the people I was working with so they had the exercises to use at home and this worked well. Eventually everyone moved over to CD's. Then in 2007 I started doing relaxation in a group setting & expanding on using imagery. I got a lot of encouragement to make a CD of what I was doing in groups as kind of "Dr. Gina to go". One of my favorite comments was "this is better than drugs!" And then in 2008 I asked Robert Finan to record "Relax with Gina" which is me creating images with my soothing voice. Then in 2010 we combined 10 of the remixed instrumentals from "Arise" with my calming voice as a guide through the music images to create "Journey with Gina".
Some nice things people have said:

Some journey's take longer than others. This album details my journey with a few twists. What it was like, what happened and what's it's like now. We start with the gift of desperation, When it is first experienced it is not usually seen as a gift at all, it can be a little like visiting hell, "dark night's awakenings' and it can feel like no one has ever experienced what your are experiencing. There is something beautiful about change after we get through it but at the time it can be very painful. When I 'came to' surrender God reached out His loving arms and held His child as an answered to prayer. I was returned to my faith tradition and found a fellowship.
The first step is 'the end of the beginning'. I had to change and needed help. The process involved healing, making amends, prayer and meditation. God has a scene of humor. I have been engaged in many adventures as well as mischief. I have found love in unlikely places and I see miracles, like my husband Joe. God has blessed us with children Vanessa & Grayson. They have their own paths and sometimes it is hard to stay out of the way. God has also blessed us with others who journey with us for a time, then drift away. This can be sad but God''s arms are always open for them to 'come back home.'
